Speech by EU’s High Representative for Foreign Policy at the 28th Summit of the League of Arab States

Federical Mogherini focused her speech on the idea of spreading peace and reconciliation in the Middle East and North Africa through a collective an cooperative approach.

Ms Mogherini highlighted that this task would require cooperation between Europe, the Arab world and throughout the wider region. She then went onto discuss issues such as developing a lasting peace between Israel and Palestine, the war in Syria and the political crisis in Libya.
