The gathering of Members of the European Parliament and EU national parliaments debated the strategy, aimed at revitalising Europe's economy, with European Commission President, José Manuel Barroso and former Dutch Prime Minister Wim Kok, who chaired the group which drew up a report for the Commission on the mid-term review of the 10 year plan.
