Speech: Protecting our heritage is a shared responsibility

Text of a speech by Androulla Vassiliou, member of the European Commission for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth at the European Union Presidency Conference, 'Heritage First! Towards a Common Approach for a Sustainable Europe' on the 6 March 2014.

She spoke about protecting our heritage and to make the fellow citizens aware of what an extraordinary resource it is for Europe.
