Spokesman bows out

It's time for another Brussels farewell.

External Relations Commissioner Manuel Marin's spokesman Josep Coll i Carbo is off to his native Catalonia to become head of the European Commision's representation in Barcelona.

His replacement is a corres- pondent from the Spanish daily newspaper El Pais in Madrid called Boscho Esternuelis. Josep informs us that his successor an an excellent English speaker. He also has intimate knowledge of Asia, having been a correspondent in Tokyo and other Asian capitals.
