Statement by High Representative/Vice-President Federica Mogherini on the new Peace Agreement in Colombia

On 13 November 2016 High Representative/Vice-President Federica Mogherini released a statement on the new Peace Agreement in Colombia.

After the previous proposed agreement was voted against at a plebiscite on 2 October 2016, the Government of President Santos, the leaders of the NO Campaign, the FARC-EP, and representatives of civil society collaborated to create a new proposal, in the hope that it will be more broadly supported by the Colombian people.
