Statement by the Spokesperson on Israel’s continuing settlement expansion in the West Bank

On 7 October 2016 a statement was given by the Spokeperson on the Israelian plans to build 98 new housing units in a new settlement in the northern West Bank.

The Spokeperson reminded that settlements are illegal under International Law and are likely to retard the achievement of an agreement with the Palestinians.
