Statement: “The EU is ready when Ukraine is ready”: Statement by EU Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht on Ukraine

On 28 February 2014 in Athens, the European Union Trade Commissioner, Karel De Gucht discussed with the European Union ministers on the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement between Europe and Ukraine which remains on the table. He made it clear that if Ukraine was ready to sign the deal, then the European Union was ready to sign the deal too.
