Strengthened and better balanced civil dialogue groups to advice the European Commission on agricultural issues

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development finalised on 18 July 2014 the review of the composition of the civil dialogue groups dealing with matters covered by the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

Civil dialogue groups are an important forum for consultation, providing expertise in the form of opinions, recommendations and reports to the Commission. An open call for applications had been opened on 1 April.
