The objectives of this study are threefold, to: - Assess the impact of the changes implemented in the cotton regime in 2006 on cotton production and the relative profitability of cotton vis-à-vis alternative crops; - Assess the impact of the reform in the regime on the ginning industry; and - Assess the impact of different policy scenarios on producers and ginners. |
