Sun editor cautions Blair on pitfalls of euro vote

The editor of 'The Sun', Britain's largest daily newspaper, warned in October 2002 that holding a euro referendum before the next general election - due in 2006 - 'would be the biggest mistake of Tony Blair's career'.
