Sweden’s finance minister has declared there is 'sunshine over the Swedish economy' as the centre-right government seizes on accelerating recovery to press its case for re-election later in September 2010. Anders Borg pointed to upwardly revised data showing that Sweden’s economy grew nearly at its fastest rate for more than a decade in the second quarter of 2010 as evidence of the government’s strong stewardship through the financial crisis. |
