Summary: The overarching aim of the study has been to help inform approaches to sustainable urban development in Portugal post 2014 when the next round of Structural Funds Operational Programmes comes into force, subject to the budget agreements for 2014-2020. It has not been an evaluation of current policies and programmes but instead aims to provide a basis for a constructive dialogue between the European Commission and the Portuguese stakeholders in advance of the new programming period. |
