Sweden tries to solve nuclear storage issue

After three decades of planning, a formal application has been submitted in Sweden in 2011 to build a permanent repository for high-level nuclear waste.

Yet, the problem remains for the world - to find a permanent solution for the tens of thousands of tonnes of high-level radioactive waste being stored in temporary facilities.
