The development of ECVET in Europe

This working paper focuses on strategies for the European credit system for vocational education and training (ECVET). It monitors and analyses the progress made – up to
mid-2010 – in the Member States of the European Union and Norway in preparing for ECVET, the strategies planned and the questions raised by the role of credit systems in education and training at national or regional levels. It contributes to the preparation for application of ECVET to VET qualifications at all levels of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
