have welcomed the outcome of last weekend's municipal elections in Bosnia, although they fear that implementing their results might not be easy. Danish Foreign Minister Niels Helveg Petersen said: “The elections did not live up to international democratic standards, but we never expected them to be free and fair in the way these words are understood.”
