This is the twelfth edition of Landmarks' annual guide to European Public Affairs, providing essential information on the people and organisations which are active in the building of the European Union. The 12,000 entries focus on contacts in Brussels, ranging from details of EU institutions to contacts at European trade associations and addressees of regional representations in Brussels, to name but a few examples.

The entries are organised into eight chapters which are: Corporate, Professional, Media, European Union Institutions, European Union Information; European Online Information; Essentials to European Affairs; Useful Numbers and Indexes. Most entries adopt a standard format providing the name, address, telephone, fax, e-mail and website for each organisation as well as the chief contacts. Useful maps of the Brussels area are also included in the directory.

This latest edition includes several new features and amendments. The section on the European Commission has been improved to include a summarised description of the main policy areas of each Directorate General and new services such as the EuropeAid Co-operation Office, the Group of Policy Advisers and the Internal Audit Service. Keeping apace with the use of new media, a new chapter on European Online Information has been added which lists information on national government servers as well as commercial databases and online products. At the end of the book, there is also an extensive cross reference index allowing the reader to search for an entry by name, organisation, abbreviation or subject.

Overall, this directory provides both those involved in European affairs on a daily basis as well as those with a one-off enquiry with a comprehensive and easy to use reference tool.
