The Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE) programme aims to assist and encourage consumer to take the steps to achieve the European Union's (EU) energy-policy priorities. By all accounts, the programme has been successful since its inception in 2003. Yet it is not clear whether the IEE will continue in its current form under the 2014-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework. Its functions may be rolled into a larger, more general funding instrument. |
