The inquiry into allegations of sexual abuse of infants in one of the European Commission’s Brussels’ crèches is to continue until September

The Belgian authorities took the decision late last week to allow further lines of inquiry to be pursued. The extension should give the Commission time to implement its political decision to become a civil party to the case, giving it direct access to the files.
