This publication provides an up-to-date overview of the state of play on the delivery of the various legislative and other political initiatives flowing from the ten priorities defined by the Commission's President, Jean-Claude Juncker, on taking office in 2014.
The analysis in this paper tracks all these developments, with both a statistical breakdown and a qualitative evaluation, using a cut-off date of December 2017. It also takes stock of what the Commission has done – or not done – in response to explicit requests for action from the European Parliament.
This publication updates a previous edition and is part of a bi annual monitoring of the Juncker Commission's ten priorities conducted by the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS).
