The Oireachtas Joint Committee on European Affairs, on 29 May 2008, published its final report on the Treaty of Lisbon. The report was the culmination of a series of hearings which the Committee held in Leinster House and a number of regional venues with the social partners and groups supporting and opposing the Treaty, as well as members of the general public. In its report, the Committee stated that it was strongly in favour of the Lisbon Reform Treaty. The 1st Report, an Interim Report on the Lisbon Treaty, was published in February 2008. |
