The pan-European environment: Glimpses into an uncertain future

This report aims to contribute to the discussion about plausible future developments relevant to the wider European region and to stimulate medium to long-term thinking in policy-making circles. It does so by sketching some of the key environmental concerns for the pan-European region based on the European Environment Agency's report, 'Europe's environment - the fourth assessment', and by highlighting some of the many uncertainties the future holds.
