The role of qualifications in governing occupations and professions

This report analyses current developments and emerging trends in ten European countries and five sectors (health and social work; electriciy, gas, water and waste; chemicals, rubber and plastic; transport and logistics; sport). It seeks to reveal how the link between qualifications and the labour market is changing – especially, how qualifications govern access to, and practice within, occupations and professions.
