Thugs disrupt Brussels memorial service

Right-wing groups clashed in Brussels on the 27 March 2016 with people paying their respects to victims of the terrorist attacks in the city on the 22 March 2016. Riot police used water cannon to disperse the anti-immigrant protesters.

[The authorities in Brussels had originally asked for no demonstrations to take place in Brussels over the Easter weekend, and a 'March for Peace' organised for the 27 March 2016 had been postponed].

Belgian prosecutors charged four people with terrorism related offences on the 9 April 2016 in connection with the 2015 Paris and 2016 Brussels terror attacks.
