Tints of Green: Who Influences Environmental Policy in the European Parliament and How?

Many scientists argue that time is running out and world leaders must act now to reverse environmental damage. Others take a more moderate stance, and put into the balance the economic effects that some environmental initiatives can entail. No matter on what side of the argument you stand, knowing who influences European environmental policies and in which way is paramount to understand the direction and the pace of change.

In this report VoteWatch Europe measured both the the views and the influence that each of the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) exerts on environmental policy, based on how they influenced actual decisions (not merely statements).
