Tory dream of a short, sharp Brexit

Major feature discussing the situation at the end of August 2016 as regards the strategy the United Kingdom will take in its decision to leave the European Union.

Despite previous reports suggesting that the leaving process could take a number of years, this feature suggests that Tory Eurosceptics were pushing the government to take the 'Hard Brexit' option and tell the EU that the UK was leaving the EU immediately.
