Towards the CAP Health Check and the European Budget Review. The proposals, options for reform, and issues arising. A paper commissioned by the German Marshall Fund, September 2001

The CAP Health Check proposals (launched 20 November 2007) and the EU Budget Review (expected late in 2008) are the focus of a paper written by IEEP for the German Marshall Fund. This informed discussions at a 'CAP Retreat', held in Brussels on the 3rd-4th October 2007, with participants from the US and Europe. Options for future CAP reform were explored.
