Tripartite Social Summit, 8 March 2017

A meeting of the Tripartite Social Summit was held on 8 March 2017, under the theme of 'The future of Europe: charting the course towards growth, employment and fairness'. Discussions were scheduled to focus on the following topics:

+ making work pay as a way to promote employment and social inclusion;
+ new forms of work and the future of industry;
+ the European Pillar of social rights and the role of the social partners.

This initiative, launched in March 2015, aims to strengthen the social dialogue at the European level.
