Tsipras reminds EU partners of Germany’s post-war debt cut

In a message posted on Facebook in August 2016 the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said that that Europe should rise to the occasion and grant Athens debt relief.

Ths was in advance of the second assessment of Greece's third bailout by the Troika, which was expected in September 2016.
