Politico obtained in September 2015 an internal European Commission status report on the TTIP negotiations with the United States of America. Politico wrote that 'Negotiations on a massive EU-U.S. trade agreement are not even halfway complete .... and the lack of progress is raising questions about Brussels’ hopes for concluding the agreement before the end of the Obama administration'.
