Tusk to stay on as Polish prime minister

Donald Tusk, Poland’s Prime Minister, announced on the 28 January 2010 that he would not be a candidate in the autumn 2010 Presidential elections, preferring to stay on to lead the government as it battles to reduce the growing budget deficit and public debt.
