This is the 20th report on the further progress made towards building the EU's Security Union. It covers developments under two main pillars: tackling terrorism and organised crime and the means that support them; and strengthening defences and building resilience against those threats. The European Agenda on Security has been guiding the European Commission's work in this area, setting out the main actions to ensure an effective response from the European Union to terrorism and security threats.
