UK implementation of the EU market abuse directive

The Market Abuse Directive sets a common framework for tackling insider dealing and market manipulation in the EU and the proper disclosure of information to the market.This joint consultation by the UK Treasury and the Financial Services Authority (FSA) seeks comments on the proposed legislative and FSA Handbook changes to achieve implementation of the EU Market Abuse Directive in the United Kingdom. Deadline for responses: 10 September 2004.
