This report, published on 30 March 2006, shows that the United Kingdom has made progress in raising productivity. On output per worker, a headline measure of productivity, since the mid-1990s, the UK has halved the productivity gap with France and closed it with Germany. It is also the only country in the G7 to have kept pace with US productivity over the last decade. Previous reports may be accessed via the first Related Url.
