UKIP goes solo on Brexit referendum campaign

The UK Independence Party (UKIP) announced on the 1 September 2015 that it would launch on the 4 September 2015 a separate campaign fighting for the United Kingdom to leave the European Union in the 'Brexit' referendum, rather than joining either of the two existing No campaigns (Business for Britain and The Know.eu).

However, UKIP leader Nigel Farage did say that the two other No campaigns should come together and campaign as one. He also suggested that ''immigration' would be the key issue of the campaign.
