Ukraine crisis, anti-corruption drive, boost Romanian energy reform

EurActiv published in April 2015 a feature on the state and progress of Romania's energy market.

According to the article, investigations of 'smart guys' contracts helped reduce corruption within the sector and accelerated the country’s market liberalisation. Simultaneously, the crisis in neighbouring Ukraine forced Romania to assume a more important role in the region.
