UN alarmed over ‘asylum fatigue’

The number of refugees in the world has fallen to the lowest level in 25 years but new challenges have left the international system for dealing with human displacement at a pivotal point, according to a report published on 19 April 2006 by the Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees.
