Unease at EU ‘threat’ to foreign policy

Speaking to a (UK) House of Commons Select Committee on European Scrutiny on 16 July 2003, Britain's representative on the European Convention, Peter Hain, expressed unease about proposals to create a new European Union Foreign Minister in a post that would oversee all areas of EU external relations.
