Unemployed MEP assistants line up for big benefits

EurActiv published on the 9 July 2014 a report in which it shed a light on the assistants of outgoing MEPs who cannot find another job after the European election.

In December 2008, MEPs passed legislation on the employment conditions of their assistants, giving them similar treatment and benefits as EU civil servants.
