Unity on clearing would boost EU

According to a Draft Working Document on Post-Trading Activities released by the European Commission on 23 May 2006, uniting Europe's fragmented clearing and settlement regimes would give a huge boost to the continent's capital markets and increase economic output in the European Union by up to €63bn a year.
