US sounds out EU on trade talks

The United States has reiterated its commitment to a new round of trade talks at the World Trade Organisation (WTO).

In Paris for a meeting of OECD ministers, US trade representative Robert Zoellick also said he thought differences that have clouded recent trade relations between the US and the EU could be overcome.
