US starts to think the unthinkable on its war

Simon Serfaty, an analyst with the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, has been commissioned by the US Government to produce a paper on the effect of failure in Iraq on Europe and transatlantic relations - failure being a sudden withdrawal of US troops from Iraq while the country descends into internecine strife.
