Video conference of foreign affairs ministers, 22 April 2020

Summary:

EU Ministers of foreign affairs held a video conference on 22 April 2020. The agenda included the following items:

• Exchange of views on current affairs, with a focus on a variety of pressing issues on the international scene;
• Briefing on efforts to repatriate European citizens stranded abroad, to counter disinformation, and to implement the so-called 'Team Europe' package;
• Discussion on the possibility to set up an EU humanitarian air bridge for delivery of coronavirus-related equipment, and facilitate the movement of humanitarian staff;
• Discussion on how to better support Ukraine and other countries in the Eastern Partnership during the pandemic.
