Video conference of the Eurogroup, 16 December 2020

Summary:

The Eurogroup held a meeting via videoconference on 30 November 2020. The agenda included the following items:

• Exchange of views on the economic situation in the Euro area;
• Discussion on the overall budgetary situation and prospects in the Eurozone and revision of economic and fiscal situation of Member States, based on the European Commission opinions on the draft budgetary plans (DBPs) and overall assessment of the DBPs;
• Discussion on the draft 2021 recommendations addressed to the Euro area in the framework of the European Semester.
