Visegrad 4 cools on Europe, and each other

Articles analyses whether the Visegrad Group of 2017 (comprising Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic) can work as a cohesive group as a voice for Central and Eastern Europe within the European Union, and act as an effective counterweight to other groupings within the EU.

Issues of contention included:

+ Posted Workers Directive
+ the perceived lack of interest in the Visegrad Group of Andrej Babiš, whose party emerged as the victor in the Czech Republic 20-21 October 2017 election.
