The Wales and the EU Hub is a newly established project created to provide and disseminate non-partisan and independent research on Wales and the EU. In the context of the forthcoming referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union, the Hub is hosting two specific research and engagement projects that are funded by the Economic and Social Research Council’s The UK in a Changing Europe initiative. These projects are intended to support the debate in Wales, through independent research and engagement with policy-makers, civil society, businesses and the general public. These projects run between 2015 and 2017. More information on the projects, as well as links to their outputs, can be found below.

The Wales and the EU Hub is part of the Wales Governance Centre and is supported by the Centre for European Law and Governance at Cardiff University’s School of Law and Politics.

Specific projects are:

+ The UK in a Changing Europe: Legal Powers in Wales in the context of UK membership of the EU
+ EU Exchange Wales
