The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), in September 2008, launched a new section, ECHA CHEM, on its website. This section contains public information and documents from REACH processes as they become available. It includes the 'Registry of Intentions', which provides information on the Intentions of the Member States to submit proposals for harmonised Classification and Labelling of substances, proposals for identification of Substances of Very High Concern, and proposals for restrictions.

A list of pre-registered substances was published under this web section in December 2008. Also available is the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern for Authorisation.
