The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU OSHA) started to blog about occupationoal safety and health issues in October 2009. In the first blog, posted on 6 October 2009, Jukka Takala, EU-OSHA Director, explained that the Agency planned to use the blog, and other social media, as a more direct communication tool to ensure that its work was relevant to information needs. |
