Notre Europe is undertaking a prospective study on the conditions under which European agriculture could fit into the world economy over the next twenty five years. This study will scrutinise the factors set to affect agricultural activity in Europe and will come up with proposals for a new agricultural policy. Contrary to studies undertaken over the last twenty years, this research paper will not confine itself to economic issues. It will also take into account agriculture's political and sociological dimensions, setting its questions in a European framework. |
