The RCD-ONLINE database was released by the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) in the summer of 2005 to enable users to search for and consult information relating to all accepted and published Registered Community Designs (RCDs). As well as being able to search on common criteria such as filing date, RCD number, Locarno classification, it is also possible to search for verbal elements contained in the design and, using the advanced search facility, for figurative elements using the Vienna Classification. The list of results obtained enables the user to obtain a direct comparison of designs as they are displayed. |
