The most comprehensive review ever carried out on the economics of climate change was published 30 October 2006. The Review, was commissioned by the UK Chancellor of the Exchequeor in July 2005. The review was carried out by Sir Nicholas Stern, Head of the Government Economic Service and former World Bank Chief Economist.
